Understanding PEP Coins
PEP Coins are the digital currency of the PerksPe ecosystem. They bridge the gap between company recognition and real-world spending, providing a modern and rewarding experience.
PEP Coins are digital reward units allocated by your organization through PerksPe. They can be redeemed to your PerksPe RuPay card and used for eligible spending based on your assigned benefit wallets. The value of 1 PEP Coin is exactly equal to ₹1.
Digital First
Allocated digitally without paper vouchers or coupons.

Redeem to your PerksPe RuPay card and spend at eligible merchants.
Non-Transferable
Restricted to your personal account for security.
Tax Efficient
Often used for tax-free perquisites like meal or fuel.
The PEP Coin Lifecycle
PEP Coins cannot be spent directly from the PerksPe app.
To make purchases:
- 🏪 Offline: Use your physical PerksPe RuPay Card at eligible merchants - refer to the MCC code area of the doc for further assistance.
- 🛒 Online: Add your PerksPe RuPay Card to supported websites or apps (such as Swiggy, etc.) and pay using the card.
- 📱 UPI Payments: Currently not supported.
The PerksPe app is used to manage your balance, view transactions, and access your virtual card details—not to make QR code or UPI payments.

Your PEP Coins are linked to your PerksPe RuPay card. When you make a purchase at an eligible merchant, your coins automatically fund the transaction.
